LapTimer is a laptiming application that harnesses the internal GPS of the iPhone or functions as a companion to the VBOX Sport, which utilizes a high-accuracy GPS receiver to elevate your iPhone's capabilities.

The VBOX Sport captures GPS data at 20 times per second, delivering an unprecedented level of accuracy beyond existing iPhone and iPad applications. Our LapTimer app utilizes this data to furnish precise lap times and predictive lap times for your vehicle.

You can utilize your iPhone or iPad to exhibit your speed, current lap time, predicted lap time, or a compilation of previous lap times, all facilitated by the VBOX technology trusted by numerous prominent automotive manufacturers and publications worldwide.

Key features include:

• Auto track selection based on your current location, leveraging our extensive track map database, eliminating the need to establish the start/finish line
• Predicted lap time through proprietary Racelogic algorithms predicting your current lap time relative to your reference lap, with delta-t represented in a red/green bar graph
• Displaying current speed or maximum speed in mph or km/h
• List of lap times, including sector times where applicable
• Custom circuit creation enabling the generation of your track or circuit and commencement/termination points as necessary
• Save your lap data in a Racelogic .vbo file for analysis using Circuit Tools software

A wide array of configuration options are accessible. The entire app's functionality is active when linked to a 20Hz VBOX Sport via Bluetooth on an iOS device running iOS 7.0 or later. Without connection to a VBOX Sport, the app will resort to the 1Hz internal GPS of your Apple device with a proportional reduction in accuracy.
